Cycom Cash Register - CCR

Cycom Cash Register - CCR is a simple cash register application for small (and perhaps medium-sized) enterprises. It has somewhat degraded functionality, but on the other hand it has been designed with the practical stanpoint in mind. Basically, the idea of CCR arose from the need to get a cheap and simple cash register system to a small hair saloon.

 

Simple Point-of-Sales Support The Cycom Cash Register - CCR aims at supporting a simple point-of-sales activity that is applicable for example in hair saloons. It excludes many of the advanced functionality; at least in the very first versions. There is, however, an easy way to produce third-party add-on applications. This can be done on top of the CCR with industry-standard spreadsheets and other applications since the system stores all data in CSV and TXT files. In the future versions, XML may be considered.
Features of Cycom Cash Register CCR Cycom Cash Register - CCR supports following simple operations and features:
Create and maintain a product list with prices(in a CSV file) Selecting desired product from a list and printing it on the receipt Using products that are NOT listed in the product list and printing them on the receipt One tax field CCR calculates the total sum of items purchased and prints the amount of tax included CCR calculates the return of money to the customer based on the sum and the payment CCR keeps track of sales for different salesmen (each receipt is tagged with the code of the salesman) Optionally can tag each receipt to a specific customer ID
In the future, CCR will be complemented with some application area specific add-ons and hopefully some practical third-party tools as well.
